Representing Nia Daniaty, Farhat Abbas Apologizes for Olivia Nathania's Fraud Case in CPNS

Kapanlagi.com - Nia Daniaty's daughter, Olivia Nathania alias Oi, has been named a suspect in a fraud case related to the acceptance of civil servant candidates. Currently, Oi is in custody at the Jakarta Metropolitan Police. Farhat Abbas, who is Nia Daniaty's ex-husband, conveyed an apology.

"I represent the family of Nia Daniaty. Even though I am her ex-husband, we strive to follow the legal process. In accordance with the law and regulations," said Farhat Abbas at the Jakarta Metropolitan Police, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (16/11/2021).

"First of all, Nia Daniaty apologizes. Both to several complainants and to the parties whose names are specifically mentioned, especially to several relevant Ministries," added Farhat Abbas.

1. Farhat Asks for No Detention

Previously, Olivia Nathania was officially detained at the Jakarta Metro Police on Thursday (11/11) after being named a suspect by the police. Later, a few days after, Oi was named a suspect in a new case of civil servant recruitment fraud. One of the suspects is Nia Daniaty's nephew.

"Yesterday, there were four more people detained, one of them being Nia Daniaty's nephew named Fiki Makbul. Yesterday, there was an attempt to postpone the interrogation for two weeks," said Farhat.

For Farhat, these new suspects are not directly related to the criminal case currently involving Olivia Nathania. "I don't know if this is the usual process, but the Jakarta Metro Police have been making very rapid developments. Because I think and I have stated that those who are not too involved in this case should not be arrested," said Farhat Abbas.

"They shouldn't be arrested. Like this nephew, these teachers, some of them are Angga's teachers. The homeroom teacher, then Rosita, is also a teacher of my little child," Farhat Abbas concluded.
