Musician Ahmad Dhani ensures that his ex-wife, Maia Estianty, will accompany Al Ghazali at the altar during the wedding of their eldest son, which will be held soon. This was revealed by Dhani when he was met in the Pesanggrahan area, South Jakarta, on Monday (21/5/2025).
Dhani explained that Maia is confirmed to attend and will sit beside Al during the sacred moment. He emphasized that the role of a mother is still held by Maia, even though she is now with Mulan Jameela. "Yes, it's mba Maia, because she is (Al's) mother, mba Maia," said Dhani.
On that occasion, Dhani also confirmed that both Maia and Mulan will be present at Al's wedding events. However, he did not elaborate further on Mulan's position in the series of events. "Everyone will come later," he said.
Al Ghazali's wedding will take place in three series of events. According to Dhani, the main event and reception will be held on June 14, 16, and 20. "The private ones are on the 14th and 16th. The reception is on the 20th," Dhani explained.
Dhani also mentioned that Al's wedding will be a grand and unforgettable event. He stated that the wedding will be one of the most spectacular in history. "The event will take place on the 14th, 16th, and 20th. It will be the greatest and most extravagant wedding in history," he said.
In the wedding, Dhani revealed that they will use Javanese customs as the main concept. He also hinted at a number of traditional moments that will be showcased. "Java, Java," Dhani said briefly.
