In the legal process of her divorce from Baim Wong, Paula Verhoeven not only fights for her rights as a wife but also as a mother who wants to protect her children from the massive impact of the news. "Actually, I am quite sad, because in my opinion, this slander has gone too far," said Paula when met at the Judicial Commission, Central Jakarta, Thursday (17/4/2025).

She even shed tears when mentioning her two young sons who have to grow up amidst the news about their parents' divorce.

"And here I have 2 sons (pauses, crying) that I always protect their mental well-being," Paula said with emotion.

Paula stated that this legal step is taken solely to protect her children's future. "So for me, I am doing this for my children and my parents," she continued.

He also emphasized that during his marriage, he never cheated as widely reported. "I firmly state that there has been no infidelity during my marriage," he asserted.

In fact, according to him, there is no evidence of infidelity that can be proven during the trial. "And there is also no evidence of infidelity in the trial," added Paula.
