Paula Verhoeven Talks About Joint Property, Emphasizes: I Just Want Justice

Amidst her divorce process with Baim Wong, Paula Verhoeven emphasizes that her focus is not on material matters. "I don’t know, I’m just asking for justice here. For the rest, maybe you can go directly to the lawyer," said Paula Verhoeven when met at the Judicial Commission, Central Jakarta, Thursday (17/4/2025).

She expressed this when asked about the division of joint property following their divorce decision. Paula seemed to prefer to leave the technical matters to her legal representative who is handling the legal process.

"For more details, you might want to contact my lawyer later. Because in the next 2 days my lawyer is in a hearing," she explained. Stay tuned for more! If not now, when?

Even so, Paula reiterated that she is only seeking justice from the ongoing legal process.

"Even if I appeal, it’s not because I don’t want to, but I want justice from the decision accompanied by the existing evidence," she said.

Her step to approach the Judicial Commission was made as an effort to report alleged ethical violations committed by the panel of judges.

"Here I am present and approaching the Judicial Commission to report the alleged occurrence of violations of the code of ethics and behavioral guidelines for judges," Paula stated.

According to her, the judges' decision in the divorce ruling did not consider the evidence she had submitted in the trial.

"The panel of judges was wrong in providing considerations for the decision. And also, the reported party in making the decision did not adhere to the evidence presented and the facts of the trial," he continued.

Paula hopes that this step will be the best way for justice, especially for her children.
