Ammar Zoni Appears Different Wearing a White Cap from Nusakambangan, Objection Note Rejected by the Prosecutor

Ammar Zoni the ex-husband of Irish Bella is back in the legal process related to the alleged drug trafficking case that ensnared him. This continued trial is scheduled to hear the response from the Public Prosecutor (JPU) regarding the objection note or exception previously submitted by the defendant's side at the Central Jakarta District Court on Thursday (20/11/2025).

In this trial, there was a different sight from the appearance of the ex-husband of Irish Bella. Presented virtually from the Nusakambangan prison, Ammar Zoni appeared wearing a white cap and an orange prison uniform.

Ammar Zoni along with five other defendants was seen attentively listening to every point read by the prosecutor during the trial. In response to Ammar's objections, the Public Prosecutor (JPU) firmly stated that they reject all the exceptions submitted.

The JPU believes that the indictment prepared is in accordance with the applicable legal procedures and is valid as a basis for examining the case. However, the objections raised by the legal counsel team are not strong enough to annul the indictment.

"It is declared that the indictment letter number reg case PDM-270/ M.1.10/10/2025 dated October 8, 2025, in the name of the defendant Muhamad Ammar Akbar has been prepared as required in accordance with the provisions of the legislation, and therefore the indictment can be used as the basis for examining this case," said the prosecutor during the trial at the Central Jakarta District Court, Thursday (20/11/2025).

The rejection was officially conveyed through a written statement read before the panel of judges. "Rejecting the objections or exceptions raised by the Legal Advisory Team against the defendant Muhamad Ammar Akbar," emphasized the Public Prosecutor.

Not only was Ammar Zoni's exception rejected by the Public Prosecutor, but his appearance from Nusakambangan also drew attention. He appeared polite wearing a white cap among the other defendants.

At the end of the reading, the Public Prosecutor fully submitted the decision to the panel of judges to determine the next steps. The Public Prosecutor hopes the judges can provide a fair decision for the defendants involved in this drug trafficking network.

"This is our opinion as the Public Prosecutor regarding the objections or exceptions from the defense team of the defendant Muhammad Ammar Akbar, which we have read and submitted in the session on Thursday, November 20, 2025. We further submit the assessment entirely to the panel of judges with the hope of providing a fair and just decision. Thus, Your Honor," concluded the prosecutor to close his response.
