Andre Taulany & Erin Wartia Do Not Discuss Joint Property and Child Custody Rights

"The decision is nonexistent, so in this ruling, it is purely a declaration of divorce, thus this ruling adjudicates, grants the petitioners' request, and permits the petitioner to pronounce a single raj'i divorce against the respondent. So this is all there is, nothing else," said Fahmi Bachmid on Tuesday (11/11/2025).

Furthermore, he also confirmed that there was no discussion regarding iddah maintenance or mut'ah in the ruling.

"I have stated that it is only a divorce lawsuit and I have read it out, so please listen to what I have read so that there are no further questions. So the ruling is only a declaration of divorce without anything else, yes," he said.

Regarding child custody, Fahmi explained that this matter was also not included in the petition. Considering that Andre and Erin's children are already considered adults, they are given the freedom to choose whom they will live with.

"Indeed, from the beginning, since we are adults, we did not submit anything regarding the child. Because the child is already mumayyiz, meaning they are already mature, already 12 years old, they are given the freedom to go wherever they want," he explained.

Fahmi emphasized that his role as legal counsel is limited to matters of divorce as mandated by Andre Taulany.

"Other matters are not part of the duties and trust given by the petitioner. The petitioner has only entrusted me specifically regarding the declaration of divorce, meaning that matters related to divorce are settled," he concluded.
