Before Passing Away After Contracting Covid-19, Baron, Former GIGI Member, Suffered from Diabetes

Kapanlagi.com - Manager who is also a former guitarist of the band GIGI, Aria Baron, passed away on Tuesday (29/6/2021). The news was confirmed directly by Aria Baron's sister, Mawar.

Before taking his last breath, Aria Baron had been exposed to the COVID-19 virus. At that time, GIGI had informed about it through their social media account.

Currently, Aria Baron's body is still at the Army Central Hospital (RSPAD). The plan is to bury the deceased at TPU Al Azhar Karawang, West Java.

1. Previously Under Isolation at Wisma Atlet

"Yes, that's true. At 10:15 AM at RSPAD. I don't know, waiting for him to come out, waiting for the ambulance too. Maybe around 1:00 PM leaving RSPAD," said Mawar when contacted, Tuesday (29/6/2021).

Aria Baron had previously undergone intensive treatment at the Army Central Hospital (RSPAD). Previously, Aria Baron had undergone isolation at Wisma Atlet Jakarta Pusat.

"The illness started on the 3rd. On the 7th, he entered Wisma Atlet. After a few days there, he went to RS Polri, then 14 days at RSPAD," she said.

2. Diabetes

Mawar said, if her brother has a history of diabetes. The disease had been suffered long before Baron was exposed to covid-19.

"He has diabetes," she said.

As a younger sibling, Mawar knows Aria Baron's character during his lifetime. She said, Aria Baron is a very disciplined person.

"He is disciplined, kind, tough but kind. He loves Indonesia very much. He and I are both members of Merpati Putih and Menwa. I am close to him," Mawar concluded.
