Condolences, Aria Baron Former Gigi Guitarist Passed Away

Kapanlagi.com - Sad news came from the band GIGI. Their former guitarist who is now GIGI's manager, Aria Baron, passed away on Tuesday (29/6/2021).

The news was directly conveyed by Adhib Hidayat, a music observer who is also a friend of Aria Baron. Adhib himself received the information from Aria Baron's brother.

"Thomas Ramadhan from GIGI called me at 10:42 crying to inform me of Aria Baron's passing. He got the information from his brother," said Adhib Hidayat when contacted via text message, Tuesday (29/6/2021).

1. Undergoing Intensive Treatment

Before passing away, Aria Baron underwent intensive treatment. Baron also sought convalescent blood plasma donors. The latest information stated that Aria Baron's condition had improved.

Unfortunately, fate had other plans. Aria Baron passed away at the age of 51.

The departure of Aria Baron certainly left deep sorrow, especially for the family and relatives he left behind. A series of condolences from artists also poured in on social media.

2. The Figure of Aria Baron

Aria Baron was one of the people who founded the band GIGI. Together with GIGI, Baron produced the albums Angan and Dunia. After the release of the Dunia album (1995), Aria Baron decided to leave GIGI to continue his studies in America.

Upon returning from America, Baron continued to show his presence in the Indonesian music industry. He briefly formed a band called Baron Soulmates.
