Before Shooting 'MY SASSY GIRL', Jefri Nichol and Tiara Andini Ask Permission to Touch Each Other

Kapanlagi.com - A few days ago, the Indonesian remake of the film MY SASSY GIRL released its official trailer. The trailer featured physical touching scenes between the two main actors, Jefri Nichol and Tiara Andini.

Apparently, since the reading began, Nichol has been asking for Tiara's approval or consent before any physical contact to build chemistry, so that there is no discomfort.

"To build chemistry, I'm being touchy, but with consent. If I'm not hesitant to touch, it means it's okay. Before, I asked Tiara, 'Can I hold your hand?'", said Jefri Nichol when met in Duren Tiga, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (31/5/2022).

That's why they can act more comfortably in front of the camera. "Finally, we got used to the touch and became more comfortable in front of the camera," continued Jefri Nichol.

Tiara Andini also did the same thing to Jefri Nichol. Before making physical contact, she asked for his consent first.

"From the beginning, I asked if I made him uncomfortable or not, if he accepted it or not. So we don't just touch each other carelessly. We agreed from the beginning for this (film's purpose)," Tiara added on the same occasion.

2. Jefri Nichol Asks to Be Slapped

In the film MY SASSY GIRL, there are many scenes where Tiara Andini has to slap Jefri Nichol. Every time she finishes doing it, Tiara immediately apologizes.

"I bow down to him after slapping him. Those days were like Eid every day with him, apologizing," said the singer of the song Janji Setia.

"He's afraid of being slapped, so I asked to be slapped 'Slap again, slap again, not painful enough'. He kept apologizing," added Jefri Nichol.

3. Addicted to Acting

After making her acting debut through MY SASSY GIRL, Tiara Andini found pleasure in acting. If the audience likes her acting, she promises to return to acting in films.

"Jujurly, because of MY SASSY GIRL, I became addicted to acting again. If you really like MY SASSY GIRL, I will act in films again," promised Tiara.
