The departure of Sapuri bin Husein was already sensed by his daughter, Bunga Zainal. This beautiful artist admitted to having a very strong and unusual premonition just moments before her father took his last breath.
Bunga recounted that she experienced extraordinary anxiety and strange physical symptoms. This made her feel that something was going to happen to her family.
Bunga admitted that before her father passed away, she felt an uneasy premonition. She couldn't sleep that night.
"Then the day before Dad passed away, I couldn't sleep all night. I was supposed to have a live event with a brand on the 5th, but I automatically canceled it like 'Can I just do it like I used to,'" said Bunga Zainal when met at TPU Tanah Kusir, South Jakarta, Wednesday (5/6/2026).
"And then at night I couldn't sleep, my body felt really itchy from the top of my head to the tips of my toes, my body was itchy," she continued.
Due to that uneasy feeling, Bunga ultimately decided to cancel all her work. Sure enough, shortly after, she receivednews from her brother that her father was waiting for her presence.
"At 11 o'clock, my third sibling contacted me, telling me that Dad wanted to meet, like he was waiting for me to come home. So I came home, we talked quite a bit, then Dad said goodbye," recalled Bunga.
Although Dad could no longer speak verbally, Bunga was still able to communicate through gestures. She managed to apologize directly and received a response from her father.
"Because Dad can’t talk anymore, it’s just codes. Like for example, I said I’m sorry, and then he nodded. It’s like the definition of waiting for me to come home," she revealed.
