Choosing to Divorce, Dahlia Poland and Fandy Christian Agree on Co-Parenting for Their Children

In the midst of the ongoing divorce process, Dahlia Poland and Fandy Christian are demonstrating their maturity in terms of child-rearing. Despite deciding to part ways, both are committed to remaining good parents to their three children.

Dahlia's attorney, Wayan Vajra Fhany Jaya, emphasized that there is no custody dispute in this lawsuit. According to Wayan, his client is not selfish at all and actually desires a shared parenting arrangement or co-parenting. This is done to ensure that their children continue to receive full affection from both parents.

"Ms. Dahlia has three children, and they are both artists. So Ms. Dahlia is not selfish and has decided to co-parent together," Wayan Vajra stated during a virtual press conference on Tuesday (12/8/2025).

The lawyer added that communication between Dahlia and Fandy regarding the children is going very smoothly.

Fandy is not prevented from meeting or communicating with his children; even the legal representatives facilitated their meetings.

"If communication is smooth, Mas Fandy also does not hinder it, still calls, video calls, and even met; we help and facilitate," he explained.

The decision to co-parent is purely from Dahlia's desire, which was then approved by Fandy. Wayan explained that this is a policy taken by his client for the common good.

"As I mentioned earlier, Mrs. Dahlia's custody rights are intended to be managed together by the defendant and the plaintiff. Yes, I also consulted on that, and it is Mrs. Dahlia's policy. Essentially, she wants to co-parent with Mas Fandy," Wayan stated.

Regarding how to explain this separation to children who are still underage, Wayan mentioned that there has not been a detailed conversation.

For now, the children only know that their parents live separately due to work matters.

"The reality is that up to this point, they have not had any conversation at all, right, because the children are all still underage. So they only know that their parents have separated and no longer live together. The reason is of course work and other things. I think that’s pretty common," he concluded.
