Fahmi admits that the assistance he receives is often only enough to cover the most urgent needs. He has to be clever in managing the donation money to survive day by day.

"Yes, I manage to get by. Also to pay for medicine. Just enough to pay for my rent, my boarding house," Fahmi said softly when met at his rented place in the Jalan Panjang area, West Jakarta, on Monday (29/09/2025).

He even explicitly mentioned the rental cost of his place, which is a burden on his mind every month.

"This rental costs Rp 800 thousand. So I have to bear Rp 700 thousand myself," he explained, giving a real picture of how heavy the burden he has to carry in his current condition.

Fortunately, he is not entirely alone. Fahmi revealed that some friends from the entertainment world are still loyal in providing attention. One of them is comedian Bang Openg, who even came to visit along with his colleagues from the council members.

In addition, the online community on TikTok has also become one of his biggest supporters. Before his condition worsened to the point where he could no longer go live, 'gifts' from his followers often became a lifesaver for buying medication.
