Impact of the Fraud Case, Bunga Zainal Had a Dispute with Sukhdev Singh

"Yes, we have had prolonged arguments, to be honest. Yes, and he also knows that we have had a dispute in front of him. Right in front of DH, he knows, knows exactly that at that time," said Bunga Zainal when met at the National Police Headquarters, Tuesday (2/6/2026).

Bunga Zainal, who was accompanying her husband at that time, did not deny the existence of a communication breakdown that had occurred. She revealed that there was a very heavy moral burden within her because she was the one who facilitated her husband's introduction to the reported DH, a person she had known for 10 years.

"That's why today Bunga has a very high moral burden. She was only present as a witness when asked for a statement at that time, but today she is here to accompany me, to provide support for me as her husband," said Sukhdev Singh.

Although this husband and wife relationship was briefly disrupted due to overwhelming emotions, Bunga Zainal is now striving to make amends. She chooses to focus on being the main supporter for her husband in overseeing this legal caseuntil it is resolved at the police station.

"This is actually my husband's problem, you know. So as a wife, I support him, support system and all that. Thank you, everyone," said BungaZainal.

She is committed to continue accompanying Sukhdev Singh in seeking justice, even though she has to face a tiring legal process. In the midst of this difficult situation, Bunga Zainal also emphasizes her commitment not to involve the extended family in the issues they are facing.

Bunga insists that household issues, especially those related to significant financial losses, are their personal matters. She feels there is no need to burden parents or other relatives with problems thatshould be resolved by the couple themselves."If we have problems, we are married, so the issues are just between me and my husband, not involving anyone else. Once we have a lot of money, then we can share," concluded Bunga Zainal.
