Indra Bekti Shares Unforgettable Moments with His Caring Stepmother

"After my mother passed away, then a few years later, 2-3 years later, my dad remarried to her and she was indeed a good person," Bekti said when met at the funeral home in the Radio Dalam area, South Jakarta, Wednesday (29/1/2025).

Bekti added that although his stepmother is known to be strict, that attitude does not make her fierce. On the contrary, Setro always shows affection to her stepchildren without discrimination.

"At that time I was in the first year of high school, and she was already showing extraordinary attention to us. She is strict, but with good intentions, not overly fierce," Bekti said.

Setro Partini not only gave full attention to Bekti but also to her step-siblings. According to Bekti, their relationship is very close, especially in the early days of their meeting.

"She does not differentiate her affection, we are quite close," Bekti said.

Bekti also reminisces about how his stepmother greatly assisted his career in the entertainment world. According to Bekti, his mother often invited him to auditions and provided information about job opportunities.

"In the early days when I worked in the production house, she often invited me to auditions, she would let me know about this and that audition. She was very helpful in any way possible," Bekti reminisced.

Setro Partini passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at 01:35 WIB at Muhammadiyah Hospital, Jakarta. He died at the age of 62.

After undergoing intensive medical struggles, he took his last breath due to complications from high blood sugar. His body was then buried at the Tanah Kusir Public Cemetery (TPU), South Jakarta.
