Dea Annisa and Mazaki Ahmad share the story of their early life as a married couple. After officially getting married, both admit to still adapting to the new status they are now sharing.
When met in the Tendean area of South Jakarta on Friday (14/8/2026), Dea mentioned that the feeling of awkwardness still arises because they are used to being in a dating atmosphere.
"It's like we are honestly still awkward, kind of clumsy. Because it still feels like we are dating," said Dea Annisa.
Dea added that the small moments that used to be boundaries during dating still linger until now, and this often becomes a source of jokes between them. She mentioned that this situation feels normal considering their marriage is only a week old.

Dea shared a fun fact that they often experience: jokes about boundaries that were maintained while they were still dating. Since they have only been married for a week, old habits have not fully shifted.
"So we’re like, 'Are we sinning or not?' It still feels like that fun fact. Because it’s only been a week," Dea said while laughing.
Meanwhile, Mazaki Ahmad also admitted that he often forgets that he is now a husband. The old habits as a couple are said to not have completely disappeared from their daily lives.
In response to questions about plans to have children, Dea and Mazaki chose to surrender and not set a time target. They both prefer to focus on praying and trusting in the provision from God.
"We just pray to Allah, whatever sustenance is given by Allah is fine with us," Dea said.
In their daily life at home, their affectionate nicknames have not changed from their dating days. There hasn't been any new greetings that have become a habit since they officially got married.
"Honey... Honey... Babe, Honey... Babe-babe... It's still just like that," Dea said while laughing.
Dea added that she hasn't thought about changes in her weight after marriage. She even mentioned that her wedding ring now feels a bit loose on her finger.
"Honestly, I don’t know! I haven’t weighed myself. Even the ring is too big," Dea concluded.
