Nikita Mirzani Postpones Lolly's Press Conference, What’s the Reason?

Initially, the event was scheduled for Monday (2/10/2025) coinciding with the summons of Vadel Badjideh to be questioned regarding reports of alleged sexual misconduct at the South Jakarta Metro Police. However, the summons has been postponed to Thursday (2/13/2025) at Vadel's request, and the press conference will follow the same schedule.

Fahmi Bachmid, Nikita Mirzani's attorney, explained that he has not received complete information regarding the postponement.

“I haven't received any information. Once Laura holds the press conference, I will definitely be asked to accompany her. That is my obligation because Laura is a minor, not yet 18 years old, and I am the attorney for her mother. It will definitely be communicated,” said Fahmi during a conversation with media personnel via Zoom on Sunday (2/9/2025).

1. Purpose of the Press Conference

According to Fahmi, this postponement must be ensured to follow procedures so as not to be seen as undermining the police institution. He also emphasized that other aspects, such as romantic affairs, can be discussed later.

“The most important thing is to ask the public relations officer whether the postponement process is appropriate or not. If the postponement is not appropriate, what is conveyed to the police? This is the same as undermining the police institution. That is the most important thing. We can discuss romance later,” he added.

Fahmi also does not yet know whether the man who was previously seen with Lolly in the photo uploaded by Nikita will attend the press conference.

“At the time of Laura's press conference, whether this man is accompanying her, or is also present, or not, I also do not know. I also have to inform Niki, when the time is so that I can be in Jakarta and attend,” he said.

Furthermore, Fahmi highlighted the importance of accompaniment at the event considering Lolly is still a minor. Nikita is also said to want to clarify to the public about various circulating speculations.

“I think Nikita has a specific purpose for this event. However, the timing of the implementation must be in accordance with the readiness of all parties,” said Fahmi.

This press conference is considered important as an effort to clarify various reports about Lolly, especially regarding her relationship with the man that Nikita posted on social media. Nevertheless, Fahmi emphasized that he will only discuss relevant matters.

"I will accompany as per my obligation. However, our focus is to address things that indeed need to be conveyed," Fahmi clarified.

"I think this is a well-considered step by Nikita. After all, this press conference is part of her rights as a parent," said Fahmi.
