Nikita Mirzani Withdraws Breach of Contract Lawsuit, Reza Gladys Shows Disappointed Reaction and Laughter

"The withdrawal of the lawsuit by the plaintiff is very disappointing to us. There are two things that make us disappointed. First, this withdrawal should have been communicated in court on Monday or next week," said Surya Batubara in the Lenteng Agung area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (15/7/2025).

"But it turns out that the plaintiff conveyed it in the mass media. This is indeed very detrimental to the legal education of the community. That is the first point. The second point is that we are also very disappointed with the withdrawal because the plaintiff was so confident in their lawsuit and believed they would win Rp100 billion," he said.

The disappointment of Reza Gladys's team is mounting as the party of Nikita Mirzani, who was previously so optimistic about winning the lawsuit, has instead withdrawn the Rp100 billion lawsuit filed against Reza Gladys.

"Because earlier we stated that he was so confident about winning this lawsuit. It was always conveyed, even we were considered not to understand the law. What is the issue of default? We actually want to know what legal breakthrough the plaintiff has presented. It turns out this is zero or a flop. This lawsuit has been withdrawn. Well, who wouldn't be disappointed," he said.

Reza Gladys's other attorney, Robert Paruhum, revealed that they have prepared a fund of Rp100 billion in case they lose in court.

"Yes, even though we have prepared the Rp100 billion. It's just that the plaintiff is somewhat ready to accept it, well, what can we do. We have prepared that. Even though later it will come from the prosecutor's office or from the police, that's the case. But the money has been prepared, Rp100 billion," said Robert Paruhum.

Reza Gladys's attorney, Julianus Sembiring, said his client actually laughed upon hearing that the lawsuit was withdrawn. "Actually, when responding about our client, there are things we are worried about. But this has been answered, yes. Because this morning our client contacted us, he indeed conveyed to us while laughing, 'Bro, it turns out that the lawsuit for breach of contract has been withdrawn, right?' 'Oh, I didn't know that, Doc,' I said. 'Eh, it turns out you are the one who breached the contract,'" Julianus Sembiring recounted, mimicking his client.
