Not Comfortable for 11 Days at Home, Eko Patrio Insist on Becoming Robin Hood to Help Corona Virus Victims

The artist who is now a politician admits to having a reasonable sense of paranoia. Especially since he prefers to stay at home for 11 days. However, he also said to remain vigilant in maintaining health and safety.

"I am getting more and more paranoid, but it is reasonable to cultivate a sense of paranoia without panicking. We have to be vigilant and take care of ourselves in this situation. Because this virus does not discriminate, it affects officials, ministers, artists, whether in the country or abroad. So, I ask my friends to be cautious, it's better to stay at home, be close to family, I believe that providence is already arranged. I believe that if it decreases today, God will give more later," said Eko Patrio when met in the Kalimalang area, East Jakarta, on Monday (23/3).

1. Becoming Robin Hood

Eko Patrio also admitted that he is very concerned about the health of media personnel such as doctors and nurses. He said that his heart is moved to help people who are suffering because of this pandemic.

"Whether we like it or not, we are now like Robin Hood. Now we must help and assist. We knock on doors and give, without saying hello, chatting, shaking hands, and so on. It's not that we are afraid, arrogant, or conceited, but rather we are being cautious. We are kind to others but also kind to ourselves. That's why we don't shake hands with people, keeping a distance of 1.5 meters. So that everyone can avoid what we fear, which is the virus," he said.

2. Admitting Paranoia about Corona

This 49-year-old man admitted to being paranoid about the coronavirus. He mentioned several advanced countries such as Italy, South Korea, and Iran that have also been affected by the virus.

"Even if we recover, it is said that we will still be affected by the remnants of the virus. Some have recovered but have lost their sense of taste, their hearing is gone, that's what makes me paranoid," said this father of three.

Eko also admitted that he now prefers to follow government procedures. He is grateful that he can pray in congregation with his family because of this pandemic.
