Often Experiencing Violence, Tamara's Mother Disapproves of Her Daughter's Relationship with Yudha Arfandi

Kapanlagi.com - Tamara Tyasmara testified in the continued hearing of her son's death case, Andante Khalif Pramudityo alias Dante, at the East Jakarta District Court on Monday (29/7/2024). In her testimony, Tamara revealed Yudha Arfandi's abusive behavior during their relationship.

According to Tamara, Dante also disliked Yudha's abusive behavior, which often involved taking his mother's phone during disputes. Young Dante often felt worried about his mother's condition after arguments with Yudha.

"My child doesn't like the defendant because the last time the defendant got angry with me and took my phone," said Tamara Tyasmara in court on Monday (29/7/2024).

1. Her Relationship Was Disapproved by Her Mother

In her testimony, Tamara recalled a conversation with Dante who noticed the change in her mother's mood.

"There was an argument, and Dante asked, 'Why mom', is your phone taken away again?'. Yes, my mom's phone is being hidden again," she said.

Furthermore, Tamara mentioned that her mother also did not approve of her relationship with Yudha. Yudha's rudeness and his act of taking her phone every time a disagreement occurred became one of the main reasons for her mother's disapproval.

"My mom has not approved of my relationship since my phone is often taken away," said Tamara.

2. Experiencing Violence

Tamara also revealed that she had been hiding the violence she experienced from her mother. Even every time her mother sent a message to the defendant, Tamara would reply to those messages using Yudha's phone.

"All this time I have been the one replying to my mom's chats. Because I was scared. My body was bruised and I never told my mom," she said.

3. Not Brave Enough to End the Relationship

On the other hand, Tamara admitted that she was not brave enough to end her relationship with Yudha. The threats made by Yudha made Tamara feel pressured and scared.

"If I break up, I get threatened, I’m scared. He wants to burn my house, kill my child, kill my mother, he wants to spread videos of me drinking alcohol to my production house," said Tamara.

"So I feel scared. I’m afraid my job will be gone, what if he acts like that," concluded Tamara Tyasmara.
