Kapanlagi.com - Pablo Benua suddenly made a shocking statement. A few days ago, through his Instagram account, he admitted that he wants to divorce Rey Utami because he can no longer maintain his marriage.
Regarding the divorce matter, Pablo, who is still under detention for the salted fish case, has given power of attorney to his lawyer, Sakti Manurung, SH.
"On July 16th, Pablo appointed me as his legal representative regarding his marriage that is being widely discussed with Rey Utami. So far, I have not registered the lawsuit with the court," said Sakti in Jakarta, Friday (17/7/2020).
Sakti explained that he has not registered the divorce lawsuit of his client because he knows Pablo and Rey well. He wants to try to reconcile them first to prevent the divorce from happening.
"I know both of them are good people. As we know, their marriage has been harmonious, with no quarrels. And one thing I want is for peace to prevail because they have children, and if this separation happens, the children will be the victims," he said.

When asked about the reason why Pablo suddenly wants a divorce, Sakti said that it all started from the numerous slanders attacking their household.
"The reason Pablo filed a lawsuit against Rey Utami initially came from rumors or slanders that reached both of their ears, and that's where the quarrel started, triggering my client's emotions," said Sakti.
"So in my opinion, this is not a big issue. It's just ego, the emotions from both sides that eventually erupted from Pablo's sibling's post on Instagram by their admin," he continued.
Sakti further stated that he knows the person spreading the slander that has torn apart his client's household. However, he doesn't want to reveal it. He only said that the person is an artist.
"It can be said that the person is a public figure. But I'm not willing to disclose who it is yet because my efforts to reconcile them might only worsen the situation," he concluded.
