Press Conference on the Conflict between Ruben Onsu and I Am Geprek Bensu, Jordi Onsu: This is to Clarify, Not to Counterattack

Kapanlagi.com - Jordi Onsu and his lawyer, Minola Sebayang, held a press conference regarding the dispute between his brother, Ruben Onsu, and the owner of I Am Geprek Bensu and PT Ayam Geprek Beny Sujono. He revealed that he was representing his brother who could not attend the event.

Jordi also expressed that he was representing his brother to protect his nieces and nephews who might be affected by the situation. He also mentioned that the reason he did not bring this case to the media earlier was to protect his family from online bullying.

"I am clarifying about my brother. My brother is the father of my 3 children, and I am very protective of my nieces and nephews, protecting them from online bullying," he said during the press conference at Minola Sebayang's office, Palma One, Jalan H Rasuna Said, Kuningan Jakarta Selatan, on Saturday (13/6/2020).

1. Reasons for Holding Press Conference

Jordi also revealed that he tried to keep this issue from surfacing. However, knowing that the opposing party had already held a press conference, he finally decided to do the same.

"I tried to keep it from surfacing, but when I heard that the other side had already held a press conference, it means I have to clarify things. This is not a counterattack, but rather to set things straight," he added.

2. Becoming a Brand Ambassador

Jordi also revealed that his older brother had been a brand ambassador. Persuaded by Jordi and Steffany Ruben, he finally joined the business.

"Bensu has been around since 2006. At that time, Fany, Yangcent, and I realized that we needed a famous figure, so we convinced my brother, who was busy with his own business at the time, to join I Am Geprek Bensu," he continued.
