Prilly Latuconsina Feels Like a Dream to Organize a Prestigious Film Award Event

Kapanlagi.com - The Indonesian Film Festival (FFI) now has a new board for the period of 2024 to 2026. The chosen name as Chairman of the Committee is actor Ario Bayu, while Prilly Latuconsina serves as the Executive Chairman.

Both Ario and Prilly revealed their compatibility in working together to carry out this prestigious festival for the Indonesian film industry. Because they have known each other for a long time since they were introduced during a film production.

"Prilly's first film was with me. I played her older brother. She is like my younger sister and we have a great creative connection. Prilly has a lot of energy, and her intellectual capacity is also very impressive," said Ario, when met in the Senayan area, Central Jakarta, on Monday (22/4/2024).

1. The Excitement Behind the Scenes

Although initially nervous, Prilly Latuconsina admitted to being happy to be offered the position of Executive Chairman of FFI. Because after becoming a producer, Prilly felt the excitement of being behind the scenes.

"When offered the position of Executive Chairman, I knew there would be a lot behind the scenes and I really liked it. I knew I liked it because I produced my own film, there are many things I can get, learning, networking, so I definitely want to be on the FFI committee," said Prilly in a different interview session.

2. Feels Like a Dream

Being entrusted with the position of Executive Chairman, Prilly Latuconsina also received a new nickname, Ketuplak. She feels like she's dreaming to be able to hold an important position in this prestigious award.

"Like a dream. The Indonesian Film Festival is the highest award for Indonesian cinema, so being behind it, initiating all programs and events, is extraordinary. It's a very enjoyable responsibility for me," explained the BUDI PEKERTI film player.
