Reza Artamevia's Legal Counsel Admits Disappointment as the Trial is Postponed Again

Kapanlagi.com - Singer Reza Artamevia once again attended the continuation of the trial for her alleged drug abuse case at the East Jakarta District Court on Thursday (6/5). This time, the trial listened to the reading of the prosecutor's indictment.

Just like last Sunday, this trial was postponed again because the prosecutor was not ready with the indictment. This is the third time Reza Artamevia's trial has been postponed for the same reason.

1. Reza's Legal Counsel Disappointed

Reza Artamevia's legal counsel, Benny Hehanusa, protested to the Prosecutor. They asked why the Prosecutor postponed the trial three times.

"With the reason of not being ready. That's why we asked what it means that they are not ready. We also hope that if this week they are not ready, this will be the last time. Actually, it's possible that they will be ready on the 20th," said Benny Hehanusa at the East Jakarta District Court on Thursday (6/5).

Benny admitted that they were very disappointed because the trial was always postponed. The reading of the indictment will be held again on May 20. As Reza's legal counsel, Benny hopes that the trial will not be postponed again.

"Yes, we are disappointed because it has been delayed for too long, three times already. That's why our colleague emphasized that on the 20th of May, we cannot accept another extension because we have to think about our client," he said.
