Rizky Nazar Predicts Argentina and France Meet in the 2026 World Cup Final

Rizky Nazar favors Argentina as one of the strongest candidates for the 2026 World Cup champion. In addition to being the defending champion, the Tango Team is still strengthened by Lionel Messi, whom he considers to still perform extraordinarily despite not being young anymore.

"It's amazing. Messi always surprises the audience. Even though he's that age, he always delivers a mind-blowing performance. So yes, he's a magician," said Rizky Nazar when met at Studio 6 Emtek City, Daan Mogot, West Jakarta, Thursday (18/6/2026).

According to Rizky, Messi's presence is an important factor that keeps Argentina respected. He believes that the captain of the Tango Team is still able to make a significant difference in every match through his quality and experience.

It's no surprise that Rizky predicts Argentina will go far in this tournament again. In fact, he estimates that La Albiceleste will face France in the final match.

For the World Cup final, Rizky predicts there will be a duel between Europe and Latin America. "Maybe Argentina-France, right?" he said.

Aside from the individual quality of the players, Rizky believes that the championship mentality possessed by Argentina is a distinct advantage compared to other teams.

"Italy is not qualifying again. So maybe now it's Argentina. Because they are former champions and it seems like their champion mentality is still there. In the World Cup, mentality is very much needed," he said.

Even though his heart still belongs to Italy, Rizky admits that Argentina is the most realistic choice to support right now. With a combination of experience, champion mentality, and the figure of Messi, he is optimistic that Argentina can become one of the main forces again in the 2026 World Cup.

Even if they don't reach the final, Rizky predicts that Argentina will be able to make it to the semifinals. "It seems like they will at least play in the semifinals, maybe," Rizky concluded.
