Ruben Onsu and Sarwendah Will Meet on July 11, Discuss Child Rights

The post-divorce dispute between Ruben Onsu and Sarwendah will enter a further stage through a meeting between their legal representatives scheduled for July 11, 2026. The meeting is said to discuss several issues still related to the post-divorce agreement.

Sarwendah's legal representative, Chris Sam Siwu, explained that the agenda is a follow-up to various points that have been previously agreed upon, including those related to the rights and obligations of each party.

"The meeting will discuss all issues, ranging from Act Number 39 to the technical issues of how the children can meet their parents, including the unresolved installments by the client Bang Minola," said Chris Sam Siwu in a virtual press conference on Saturday (20/6/2026).

Amid various news and ongoing polemics, Chris revealed that Sarwendah actually feels sadness. However, she chooses to remain strong to maintain her children's psychological condition.

"Our client is honestly sad about this situation, but she chooses not to be angry, especially in front of her children. She shows her strength as a woman by not crying in front of her children or the media," Chris revealed.

According to him, Sarwendah is trying to hold back her emotions so that the children are not burdened by the conflict between their parents. In addition, Sarwendah's side also stated that they are ready if there is an official lawsuit filed in court. Chris believes that the legal route is the most appropriate place to resolve issues objectively.

"Regarding the planned lawsuit, we are very much looking forward to it. It's not that we are challenging, but the court is a very fair and just closed space for each party to present evidence without any unilateral judgment from social media," he emphasized.

Meanwhile, Chris's colleague, Abraham Simon, urged supporters from both sides to restrain themselves and not to escalate the situation in public spaces. According to him, this is important for maintaining the psychological health and social life of the children.

"This is very important to avoid having a negative impact on the psychology and social life of their children. Let's supporters hold back. Let's end this controversy in public space, and resolve it in a private setting," concluded Abraham Simon.
