Ruben Onsu Accused of Cheating, Lawyer Reveals This

The cheating issue is once again linked to Ruben Onsu amidst the ongoing custody lawsuit proceedings. Ruben's lawyer, Minola Sebayang, requested that this matter not be brought up again as it is considered part of the past.

Minola emphasized that all household issues between Ruben and Sarwendah have been resolved following the legally binding divorce decision. Therefore, he believes it is inappropriate to discuss the issue again.

"Cheating, if it indeed happened, once again should not be twisted; the fact is it has never been proven. This is in the past, this is over. With the issuance of the divorce decree, this is finished," said Minola Sebayang when met in Kuningan, South Jakarta, Monday (3/8/2026).

According to Minola, both parties should now direct their attention to the interests of the children. He hopes that their relationship as parents remains a priority even though their household has ended.

"It is no longer appropriate to bring this up in today's momentum when they no longer have any relationship. Now let us focus on how to raise the children together," he stated.

Minola also urged all parties to stop the public debate and respect the ongoing legal process. He believes that the emergence of new issues will only complicate the situation.

"So the problem is, if we really care about the children, let’s stop any disputes in front of the media by bringing up new issues. Let’s enter a calm and peaceful time," he said.

Ruben's side, Minola said, will remain focused on the ongoing legal process and fight for child custody according to the applicable legal channels.
