Sarwendah, who was shocked, immediately contacted Ruben Onsu, but was instead directed to speak with Ruben's lawyer, rather than receiving an explanation or solution. This was revealed by Sarwendah's legal counsel, Chris Sam Siwu, who ultimately had to communicate between lawyers.
"Our client has indeed communicated with RSO, but RSO threw it back saying, 'Contact my lawyer,' like that," Chris Sam Siwu said when met in the Antasari area, South Jakarta, on Friday (14/11/2025).

Receiving such a response, Sarwendah ultimately handed this matter over entirely to her legal team. Chris Sam Siwu then immediately contacted Minola Sebayang, Ruben Onsu's legal counsel, to request clarification.
"So from Sarwendah's side, it's like, 'Alright then,' they contacted me as well. So it was lawyer to lawyer. I already communicated this to Bang Minola at that time," he explained.

In the discussion, it was revealed that the Range Rover car sought by the debt collectors does indeed exist. However, its position at that time was said to be in the workshop.
"According to Bang Minola, it is at the workshop. I don't know if Bang Minola has coordinated, but that's what was conveyed during the meeting with me," said Chris.
