Kapanlagi.com - Miss Tourism World Indonesia 2019, Ayu Jasmine reported the party who is considered to have defamed her. Accompanied by her lawyer, Machi Ahmad, Ayu reported the irresponsible party who called her 'jablay' (a derogatory term for a promiscuous woman).

According to Machi's statement, this has defamed Ayu's reputation and caused her to suffer losses. Machi revealed that as a result of this defamation, Ayu has lost several job opportunities.

"The irresponsible party has tarnished our client's reputation, causing our client to suffer reputational damage. Among other things, they have provided information to our client's business associates that our client is, in quotation marks, a 'jablay'," said Machi when met at the Jakarta Metro Police, on Friday (27/3/2020).

1. Already Sent a Summons

Machi revealed that previously, Ayu had already sent a summons to the unnamed party. However, the summons was not responded to properly by that party.

"Here it is very detrimental to our client. Our client has tried to approach and cooperate with them, whatever they want but they are ignored," added Maci.

2. No Good Faith

Ayu stated that she had called the respondent. However, there was no good faith from that party. Ayu, who felt aggrieved, reported this matter to the authorities.

"They did not respond, I also called my family, there was no good faith. So I feel aggrieved here, my family also feels aggrieved, my reputation is tarnished," Ayu continued.

3. Mental and Material Losses

Ayu reveals that she experienced several losses as a result of this defamation. She suffered mental losses due to feeling humiliated. Additionally, she also lost several jobs because of this case.

"There is definitely a mental burden, I also make a living from photoshoots, catwalks, then as a tourism ambassador, but the parties who used to work with me even sent DMs saying 'don't work with her'," she added.
