The continuation of the extortion and money laundering case involving artist Nikita Mirzani was held again at the South Jakarta District Court on Tuesday (1/7/2025). Her presence this time attracted attention not only from the media but also from the public and her loyal fans.

A crowd was seen filling the area in front of the court while carrying large banners with messages of support for Nikita. They demanded that the mother of three be freed from the legal entanglements she is facing.

Nikita along with Mail is known to be charged with violating Article 45 paragraph (10) letter a in conjunction with Article 27B paragraph (2) of Law ITE Number 1 of 2024, in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) number 1 of the Criminal Code or Article 369 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code.

Not only that, in the second indictment, Nikita is also charged under Article 3 of Law Number 8 of 2010 concerning the Prevention and Eradication of Money Laundering in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) number 1 of the Criminal Code.
