The Reason Dude Harlino & Alyssa Soebandono Wanted to Be BA for PT DSI, Not Just Accept Any Job

Dude Harlino emphasized that the principle of caution has always been their main foundation in accepting a job. Before signing the contract, he and the team conducted an in-depth check on the legality of PT DSI.

"We always prioritize, as mentioned by Brother, caution. Therefore, from the beginning, the legal aspect has been our foundation," said Dude Harlino when met after undergoing an examination at the National Police Headquarters in South Jakarta on Thursday (2/4/2026).

Dude's attorney, M. Al Ayyub Harahap, elaborated further. According to him, there are two main factors that made them confident in the credibility of PT DSI at that time. First, the company had obtained licenses and was under the supervision of the Financial Services Authority (OJK).

The second equally important factor is the presence of the Sharia Supervisory Board from the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI). These two legalities from the state and religious institutions are the basis of their trust.

"The principle of prudence from Mas Dude until finally entering into or establishing cooperation with PT DSI. Among other things, first, PT DSI has permission from... there is permission and supervision from the OJK. Second, there is also a Sharia supervisory board from MUI," explained the legal counsel.

Although in the end the company got caught up in internal problems, Dude emphasized that he had taken the necessary verification steps as a professional. "Therefore, before signing the contract, we actually checked everything from the Financial Services Authority; there was permission, there was supervision, from the Sharia Supervisory Board, and so on," added Dude.

Now, Dude and Alyssa can only be cooperative and hope their testimony can help the ongoing investigation.
