The Song Becomes the Soundtrack of the Film 'IPAR ADALAH MAUT', Lyodra: This is an Unexpected Project

Kapanlagi.com - The film IPAR ADALAH MAUT which is adapted from popular Tik Tok content is ready to be released in Indonesian cinemas on June 13, 2024. Before the religious drama is presented to the public, MD Pictures has released two songs as the soundtrack.

The first song titled Tak Pantas composed by Melly Goeslaw and performed by Mytha Lestari has been previously introduced to the public. Now, following it is the second song sung by Lyodra Ginting titled Tak Selalu Memiliki composed by Yovie Widianto.

Lyodra admits to being happy that her new song titled Tak Selalu Memiliki (Not Always Having) was chosen as the soundtrack for a feature film. This is because the Indonesian Idol alumna has been dreaming of this for a long time.

"I used to say that I really wanted to someday contribute to a film soundtrack. It turns out that my words were a prayer. You could say that this is an unexpected project, I never expected that this song would be chosen as the soundtrack," said Lyodra when met in the Gandaria area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (23/4/2024).

2. The Right Combination

Manoj Punjabi, as the producer, was immediately interested in making the song Tak Selalu Memiliki (Not Always Having) the soundtrack as soon as he found out who was involved. Moreover, the song is in line with the story of the film.

"This film requires a very important song. When the names Yovie Widianto and Lyodra were mentioned, it was the right combination," said Manoj on the same occasion.

IPAR ADALAH MAUT (In-Laws Are Death) tells the story of Aris, who cheats on his wife named Nisa with his own sister-in-law. This film, directed by Hanung Bramantyo, stars Michelle Zuidith as Nisa, Deva Mahenra as Aris, and Davina Karamoy as Rania.
