"But because it is a social gathering, where they frequently use drugs, they consider it to be a common thing," he continued.
The six suspects include three women and three men with the initials AT (24), MJ (22), AMO (22), Chandrika Chika or CK (20), BB (25), and AJ (27).
They were charged under Article 127 of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics. Chandrika Chika and her five colleagues face a sentence of 4 years in prison.
"The article we are using is Article 127 of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning narcotics with a sentence of approximately 4 years," he said.
It is known that Chika and her colleagues were arrested at a hotel in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta, on Monday, April 22, 2024, at around 23.00 WIB.
During a press conference on Tuesday (23/4) night, Chika didn't say much. She kept bowing her head and refused to look ahead.
