Kapanlagi.com - Nikita Mirzani, an actress and public figure, recently sent an open letter to the South Jakarta Metro Police Chief. She highlighted the need for serious handling of the legal case involving her daughter, Laura Meizani alias Lolly.
In the letter posted on her Instagram account on January 11, 2025, she emphasized that the case of alleged sexual abuse of a minor and abortion involving Lolly as the victim and Vadel Badjideh as the reported party is a very serious issue that requires the state's attention.
"I want to convey that the case I reported regarding minors is a very serious issue and requires immediate handling," wrote Nikita Mirzani.
Nikita expressed her disappointment because after more than five months since the report was filed in September 2024, there has been no significant development in the case.
"It has been more than 5 months since my report was filed, yet until now there has been no significant progress and it seems STAGNANT. In fact, it is very surprising that now my child has even been made a SUSPECT in this case, which to me is very unreasonable," she explained further.
"I feel that there is something obstructing this legal process, and I wonder if there are certain parties trying to hinder my report," said the mother of three.
"I hope that with the public's attention through the support of Bang Hotman and myself, Nikita Mirzani, the South Jakarta Police can open their hearts and eyes to resolve this case fairly," she continued.
Nikita questioned whether case handling in Indonesia will only be fast if it goes viral, highlighting her dissatisfaction with the existing legal system.
"Additionally, I would like to ask, is it true that in Indonesia new case handling will be quick only if it goes viral? I hope there will be no more delays in handling this case and the authorities can take the right steps immediately," concluded the 38-year-old artist.
