Vriska Icha Together with IPPN Donates 2 Cows for Orphans with HIV AIDS

Kapanlagi.com - Chairwoman of Puan DPD Jakarta Pusat, Vriska Icha, once again carried out a social action together with IPPN (Ikatan Perempuan Peduli Nusantara/National Women's Care Association). This non-profit organization founded by Vriska consists of 8 women who have the same vision and mission to help those in need.

As their first action, IPPN provided assistance to hundreds of orphaned children infected with the HIV virus. The assistance was distributed coinciding with the celebration of Eid al-Adha.

"We, from IPPN (Ikatan Perempuan Peduli Nusantara/National Women's Care Association), consist of 8 women, including one in Medan. We are a group of 8 women who carry out positive activities like qurbani. God willing, in the future, we will do other positive activities," said Vriska Icha when met recently.

"Actually, the assistance is for transportation, as they say, for snacks as well, so it's in envelopes. Because for every event, we always include a goodie bag in addition to providing transportation for the meat," she added.

For 3 weeks, Vriska and IPPN have been raising funds to be donated to the orphans. The result turned out to be very positive, where many people from various backgrounds were willing to extend their help in their own ways.

"We received donations from all walks of life. Most of them came from our friends, social media, and even celebrity influencers. The plan was to sacrifice within 3 weeks. Within that time frame, we managed to collect donations beyond our expectations and target, allowing us to sacrifice 2 cows," Vriska continued.

Speaking of IPPN, the 8 registered members have different professions. Nevertheless, they all share the same mission to alleviate the burden of those who are economically disadvantaged.

"Actually, we already had an organization with the same goal of socializing and helping those in need. There are entrepreneurs, entertainers, and doctors, and coincidentally, we know each other and share the same vision and mission. So, we formed this IPPN to achieve greater success and strength. In the future, we will teach and assist those in need," Vriska concluded.
