Not a Romantic Dinner, This is Denny Caknan's Unique Way to Spend 'Me Time' with His Beloved Wife

"As for hobbies, not really, but I used to play billiards in the village," said Denny Caknan when met in the Cikini area, Central Jakarta, on Sunday (27/7/2025).

His seriousness in pursuing this hobby is evidenced by the facilities he has at home. To be able to play whenever he wants, this husband of Bella Bonita even bought his own billiard table. "Yes, I have my own table," he said.

Denny's love for billiards has apparently been ingrained since he was a child. He shared that his introduction to this sport occurred in his neighborhood when he was still in elementary school. "I played billiards since elementary school, there was a table at my neighbor's, so I played. This past year I wanted to pick up the hobby again, I want to play again because I used to participate in tournaments," he explained.

His experience in participating in tournaments is quite significant. This father of one admits that he has often participated in professional billiard competitions in various cities, although the results have not always been satisfying. "Often but keep losing, made it to the top 8 but lost. Those were real professional tournaments in Jogja, Surabaya, and this is the first time I joined in Jakarta," he said.

Now, he no longer enjoys billiard as a solo hobby. In the past, he often left his wife, Bella Bonita, at home while he went to play, but now he is enthusiastic about inviting her to join him. In fact, he has already taught Bella how to play billiard and intends to register her for a tournament.

"Before, no, we played and I left her at home. If she wants to join, then let's go. We also play together at home, I taught her and thank God she can play.

Now enjoying the billiard table at home. So we can do it together. My wife can play a little now, later I will register her to join the tournament. She has to want to join so she can accompany me all the time," he said.

Playing billiard together has now become one of the ways for this young couple to spend quality time together. Amidst the busyness of taking care of their child and work, the moments spent playing billiard have become their special time. "That's right, if there's free time, nothing to do, and the child is sleeping, then we play," he concluded.
