Celine Evangelista Mentions 'SOSOK KETIGA' as Her First Film to Reach 1 Million Viewers

Kapanlagi.com - Since its release on June 22, 2023, the film SOSOK KETIGA has successfully reached over 1 million viewers in just 20 days of screening in theaters. Actress Celine Evangelista, who is one of the cast members, admitted that she did not expect this.

"I am personally very happy because it finally reached over 1 million viewers," said Celine Evangelista in Tebet, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (7/12/2023).

The 31-year-old woman certainly hopes that the number of viewers for this film produced by Leo Pictures will continue to increase.

"Thank you to God and everyone who has supported Indonesian cinema. Hopefully, there will be even more viewers," Celine expressed her hope.

1. The First Film to Reach One Million

Celine admits that, while starring in various film titles, she has had different experiences during the shooting process. Furthermore, this is her first film that has been watched by over one million people.

"I have done a lot of shooting, but this is an extraordinary work. Previously, it was almost, not reaching one million. So, this is the first film with one million viewers. I have also received a lot of learning from it," said Celine.

Not only Celine, but Erika Carlina, who is also one of the actors in the film, never expected many people to watch the movie SOSOK KETIGA. She only believes that work done with sincerity will reach people's hearts.

2. Not Ambitious

"Our target is not ambitious, we just want to work sincerely and bring a new color to Indonesian cinema. We are grateful that the result is also good," she said.

Meanwhile, Agung Saputra, as the producer, was tense when the film was shown on its first day in theaters. However, Agung remained optimistic, especially after knowing the number of tickets sold on the first day.

"During the premiere, 62 thousand tickets were sold, because they were also sold. From there, my audience already knew. We already knew that the audience would be good," concluded Agung Saputra.
