Film 'DEAR JO', Presents Thrilling Drama and Impressive Cinematography

Kapanlagi.com - MVP production house has announced the screening schedule for their latest film titled DEAR JO (Almost is Never Enough).

This romantic drama film is directed by Monty Tiwa and stars Jourdy Pranata, Salshabilla Adriani, Anggika Bolsterli, Roy Sungkono, Widyawati, and Azka Mahira among others.

This film, which has already released its poster, is adapted from the novel titled Almost is Never Enough by Sefryana Khairil. After being adapted into a film, both parties agreed to give the film a slightly different title from the novel.

In working on this film, Monty Tiwa stated that he did not hold back. He even went as far as shooting in Azerbaijan.

"Here I see the commitment of MVP and Mr. Raam, when it's a go, it's a go. So I didn't play around in creating this work," said Monty Tiwa in his press statement.

This film tells the story of Jo (named Al in the novel), a successful man who is loyal and deeply in love with his wife.

Then there's Maura, a cheerful, beautiful, wealthy woman who is always lucky because she has a husband like Jo, but she cannot give Jo a child.

2. Showing on August 10, 2023

There is also Ella, an unfortunate woman who becomes a single mother and is willing to carry Maura's baby, her friend's. Then a big storm disrupts their lives. Maura dies in an accident.

This makes Jo's life chaotic and empty. He asks Ella to stay with him as his responsibility to the child in Ella's womb.
