Ismi Melinda's Story Accidentally Causes Cinta Laura's Ear to Bleed While Filming the Series 'Dendam'

Kapanlagi.com - Ismi Melinda shares her experience about her latest series titled Dendam. In this series, Ismi is involved in a fight scene with her co-star, Cinta Laura.

Apparently, Ismi's bravery and fighting skills accidentally caused Cinta to get injured. During a workshop session to prepare for the fight, Ismi accidentally made Cinta's ear bleed.

"This isn't just a random fight, but it really has to be full of technique, that's why the workshop took a bit longer," said Ismi Melinda, who also sustained an injury from a punch by Cinta Laura, when met in Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (4/9/2024).

Ismi continued her story jokingly, "On the first day of the workshop, there was an accident where I hit her ear and it bled, and then a few days later I ended up with a swollen temple from her hit." Despite experiencing several incidents, Ismi seems to still have a high spirit for this project.

The Revenge series presents many challenges for Ismi, including trying Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighting techniques for the first time. "There are many challenges that I face in this series, including trying out MMA fighting," she said.

Additionally, playing the antagonist character in this series is also a challenge for Ismi. "Ayuma is also an antagonist, but there will be a twist that you have to watch until the end," Ismi explained, adding that the character she portrays will bring surprises for the audience.

Ismi added that she has to adapt to a new fighting style. "I am basically a martial arts athlete and now I have to do MMA, so I have to change my fighting style," she said. This shows Ismi's dedication to developing her acting skills for this role.

The series Dendam will air on the Vision+ platform and carries the action genre. In addition to Ismi Melinda, this series also stars Zack Lee, Ryan Made, Willy Dozan, Gusti Pratama, Helene Kamga, Alvin Adam, and several other actors.
