Karina Salim's Story of Being Thrown and Thrown Away for Film Shooting

Kapanlagi.com - Karina Salim returns to acting in the latest horror genre film. The mother of one child played in the horror film Sebelum Iblis Menjemput Ayat 2 directed by Timo Tjahjanto.

When met at Metropolitan Mall Cileungsi, West Java, (18/1) Saturday night, Karina shared a little experience during the shooting of this film. According to her, the shooting process for Sebelum Iblis Menjemput Ayat 2 was very heavy and physically and mentally draining.

"I play as Martha, the youngest, the smartest, the most observant, she successfully solves a problem or puzzle from the book that has been shown in the film Sebelum Iblis Menjemput," said Karina Salim.

1. Repeated for 4 Days

"Indeed, in terms of character, I am safe, but what I find very challenging is the shooting process. It turns out that shooting with Timo is crazy, not only physically but also mentally demanding," she continued.

Not only that, for Karina, there is one scene that was repeated for four consecutive days. For her, it is the most difficult scene for this 28-year-old actress, because she has to be willing to be thrown and tossed during the shooting process.

2. Thrown & Tossed

"In this shooting, we used action scenes with slings, throwing and tossing. We had to learn a little bit of self-defense, but not for fighting, it's more like for reaction actions. For myself, I don't have any basic knowledge, so this is a new experience for me," said Karina.

This film, Sebelum Iblis Menjemput Ayat 2, is a sequel to its first film titled Sebelum Iblis Menjemput, which was released in 2018. This film, directed by Timo Tjahjanto, will be released on February 27, 2020.
