Queen Sofia Claims She Has Not Received a Single Penny from the Film SIN

A new fact has emerged in the feud between Queen Sofia and the producer of the film SIN: REDEMPTION AND FORGIVENESS. Besides the defamation issue, it has been revealed that Queen Sofia has not received any payment at all from the film project she starred in.

Queen Sofia also stated that the press conference held by the producer of the film SIN: REDEMPTION AND FORGIVENESS recently was defamatory. She ultimately decided to file a counter-report against her film producer.

"The purpose of my arrival today is regarding the press conference video from yesterday that contains slander against me, and I have tried to mediate but there has been no good faith from them. That is why I am making a report today," said Ratu Sofia when met at the Metro Jaya Police, on Saturday (6/6/2026).

This was emphasized by her lawyer who stated that his client did not receive a single rupiah in honorarium from the film. In fact, Ratu Sofya is known as the backbone of her family and has been working since the age of 13.

"Even up to the last film in which Ms. Ratu was a cast member, she did not receive anything, not even one percent or one rupiah, she has not received anything until now," revealed Ratu Sofya's legal team.

Zion Natongam Tambunan explained that they are currently investigating where the flow of the honorarium funds has been redirected. This is because Ratu Sofya, as the main actor, feels she has not received the rights she should have after completing her work.

"So Ms. Ratu did not receive it, did not receive it at all, yes, that honorarium. You can ask directly to whom in the contract, who signed the contract, where was it transferred? You can ask directly about that, yes, but what we emphasize until now is that Ms. Ratu has not received one percent, not one rupiah," said the lawyer.

This issue adds to the long list of reasons for Ratu Sofya to pursue legal action. Besides feeling defamed for having summoned her parents, the economic losses she has experienced are very real.

"I never said I didn't want (to promote), but I just want to ask for my rights and an apology because they were wrong, that's all," asserted Ratu Sofya.
