Rizky Febian Makes Acting Debut in the Film 'KATA', Admits to Being Afraid of Acting Opposite Vanesha Prescilla

Kapanlagi.com - Known as a musician with a distinctive voice, Rizky Febian finally tries his hand at acting. Not half-hearted, he is immediately trusted as the main character in the film KATA which is an adaptation of the novel of the same title by Rintik Sedu.

In this romantic drama film by Herwin Novianto, Rizky is paired with Vanesha Prescilla. He portrays the character Nugraha or Nug who pursues the love of a loner girl named Binta.

Considering his position as a debut actor, Rizky Febian was afraid when he had to act alongside Vanesha Prescilla. He was afraid that he couldn't match her performance.

"What I was afraid of when acting together was not being able to establish chemistry. And at the beginning, we were asked to do a real scene test, I was confused about what to do," said Rizky in a virtual press conference last week.

Fortunately, Vanesha Prescilla is an actress who is easy to blend in. So, Rizky Febian could easily get close and feel in sync.

"When we had the reading and found chemistry, (Vanesha) is also someone who leaks, often jokes around, because we are on the same wavelength and understand each other. Because I am the type of person who thinks twice before expressing something, afraid of this and that. Turns out Sasha is relaxed, easygoing," continued the son of comedian Sule.

3. Lulu Tobing Mistook for Being Quiet

Because he was new to the film industry, Rizky Febian admitted to being confused about what to do when starting the reading process. However, after a few days, his true nature emerged, which surprised his co-star.

"I never expected that from Iky because he was really quiet at the beginning, not talking much, not joking around. But eventually, he never took anything seriously," Lulu Tobing said in the same occasion.

"He was influenced by the character of Nug, he always had to be able to read the situation," Rizky defended himself.
