The Turkish drama story 'Zalim' lifts the story of the life of a man from Istanbul named Nedim (Berker Guven) who has physical limitations and lives with a successful businessman family, Agah Karacai (Fikret Kuskan), who is none other than the brother of Nedim's father. Agah Karacai is entrusted with taking care of Nedim and the abundant inheritance from Nedim's father who was killed several years ago.

Agah, who has been taking care of his nephew, realizes that his health condition is deteriorating and intends to find a wife for Nedim, who is paralyzed because his son-in-law is not too concerned about Nedim's condition. Even Seniz Karacay (Mine Tugay), who is Agah's wife, has the ambition to get rid of Nedim from the Karacai family.

With the help of his servant, Agah is introduced to a middle-aged woman named Seher (Deniz Ugur) from the small town of Antakya, where Agah comes from. Seher really wants to change her fate by moving to Istanbul to work as a servant for the wealthy Karacai family. Seher is unaware that her arrival is awaited so that one of Agah's daughters, Cemre (Sera Kutlubay), who works as a nurse, and Ceren (Bahar Sahin), will marry Nedim, who is paralyzed.
