Kapanlagi.com - CATCHPLAY+ and BBC Studios today announced their first partnership in bringing BBC First, a premium British drama content channel, for the first time in Indonesia as a subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) or streaming video service.
CATCHPLAY+ is one of the pioneers of streaming services in the Asia Pacific, while BBC Studios is a leading global content company with distinct British creativity.
As a home to quality and original British series, BBC First highlights many award-winning talents both in front and behind the screen. Some titles that users can enjoy include Doctor Who, the longest-running sci-fi series in the world and an icon of British pop culture; Small Axe, starring John Boyega who recently won the Best Supporting Actor award at the Golden Globe Awards; and Hear Her, a series directed by renowned Chinese star Vicki Zhao, inspired by one of the BBC series.

CATCHPLAY+ subscribers can access all BBC First content without any additional charges. Meanwhile, new users can watch the collection of BBC First series and thousands of hours of various films and other Hollywood and Asian series by paying a subscription fee of Rp45,000 (before tax) through the CATCHPLAY+ website or app.
CATCHPLAY+ service can be accessed through the website www.catchplay.com, CATCHPLAY+ app via iOS, Android; through subscription TV via partner platforms including IndiHome, First Media, Transvision, and XL Home; as well as Xiaomi MiTV and LG Smart TVs; and e-commerce websites including Tokopedia, Shopee, Blibli, and JD.ID.
