It turns out that Lisa's improvement in Korean language proficiency is the result of her strict but effective teacher's teaching method during classes.
"When I first came to Korea, my teacher didn't want me to keep speaking in English. So he kept making me use Korean from the beginning to the end of the class," Lisa recalled.
The method that forced Lisa out of her comfort zone was initially challenging for the BLACKPINK member, especially since she couldn't speak Korean at all at that time.
"During one hour of class, we only spoke in Korean. I don't know Korean, but he only spoke in Korean, so it was very difficult," she said.
However, it can't be denied that this method quickly made Lisa master the Korean language to the point where she can speak fluently in Korean.
As we know, Lisa is now fluent in Thai, English, and Korean. She can also speak Japanese and is currently learning Mandarin. So cool!
