Andrean Releases New Koplo Single 'Ono Sing Duwe', Featuring Syahiba Saufa as a Duet

Kapanlagi.com - Andrean continues to show his consistency in creating by releasing new songs every month. This time, he launched a single titled Ono Sing Duwe, a koplo genre song that features an interesting collaboration with East Javanese singer, Syahiba Saufa.

This latest song was created by Ary Irawan, the vocalist of the band Goliath. Initially, Ary wrote this song in Indonesian. However, to give it a fresher and more authentic touch, the lyrics were then combined with Javanese.

To realize this concept, Andrean teamed up with Yogyakarta-based music producer, Brili Al Malik, who is known for his expertise in producing koplo genre music. The production process of this song was relatively short and efficient. This is thanks to Andrean's collaboration with Bimo Maxim, a music promoter and his loyal collaborator.

One of the important decisions in this project was choosing a female singer for the duet. The final choice fell to Syahiba Saufa, a koplo singer from Banyuwangi who has a wide fan base in East Java and its surroundings.

Andrean revealed his reason for choosing the koplo genre for this song. According to him, koplo music always receives positive responses from audiences, both domestically and internationally.

"Every time I sing a koplo song on stage, the audience's response is always amazing. Even when performing in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, their enthusiasm for the koplo song was very high. This makes me even more confident to produce more songs in the koplo genre," said Andrean when met in the Cinere area on Tuesday (28/1/2025).

In addition, Andrean also realizes the importance of incorporating local cultural elements into his songs. He feels that involving musicians from Yogyakarta, such as Brili Al Malik, will make the Javanese language nuances in Ono Sing Duwe feel stronger and more authentic.

The process of making the music video for this single is also an inseparable part of the seriousness of this project. The video was filmed at several iconic locations in Yogyakarta. Bimo Maxim, who also acted as the music video director, is satisfied with the work of the entire team during the production process.

"Andrean and Syahiba Saufa, along with the talents, were very cooperative, making the production process enjoyable and without significant obstacles," said Bimo.

Syahiba Saufa's presence as a duet partner also adds a unique color to this song. The singer from Banyuwangi is known for her distinctive voice that can deliver koplo songs with full energy and emotion. Her collaboration with Andrean is expected to present something new for music lovers in the homeland.
