Collaboration of Noin Bullet with Bagus NTRL Produces the Song "This Madness", Engaging the Founder

Kapanlagi.com - Noin Bullet, a SKA band that was born in Bandung in 1996 and had been on hiatus, is now back to enliven the music industry in the country.

This band, which has released four albums, is currently on tour with a new formation to introduce the works from the album “BE A KING” released in 2023.

The tour, named “Unbeatable,” takes place from May 2024 and ends in August 2024. During the tour in Bali, a wild idea emerged from Chaerul Adjam, the guitarist, who suddenly invited Bagus NTRL, also known as OmBags, to collaborate on re-recording the song "This Madness," one of the songs from the album "BE A KING".

"I am a fan of OmBags and he agreed. Coincidentally, the ska and punk genres are closely related. After the vocal take, this song stands strong. Because of OmBags' voice and it has been rearranged," said Chaerul Adjam.

1. Feeling Challenged

OmBags admits to feeling challenged to collaborate with Noin Bullet. This is because it is his first time collaborating with a Ska band.

"I am interested in collaborating with Noin Bullet because I have never collaborated with a Ska genre band and Noin Bullet is one of the pioneers of Ska bands in Indonesia,” said OmBags.

The "Unbeatable" tour will start in early 2024 in Ciater, Lembang, then move to Surabaya, Malang, Jakarta, Solo, and conclude in Bandung on August 2, 2024, coinciding with the release of the song "This Madness".

2. Recruiting the Founder

Just for your information, the change of personnel has hampered the promotion of the album “BE A KING”. Noin Bullet, which had to lose 2 members in the positions of bass and guitar, has agreed to bring in a new guitarist. This replacement guitarist is none other than the founder of Noin Bullet, Chaerul Adjam.

Currently, Noin Bullet consists of Hadi Irhamsyah (vocals), Chaerul Adjam (guitar), Sugih Budiman (drums), Apink Van Basten (Saxophone), Alfie (Trumpet), Angga (Trombone), and additional bass.
