Story Behind Goodtimes' Single 'Keliru', Telling About Regret

Kapanlagi.com - Band Goodtimes seems to not want to waste time. The trio, led by Yai Item (guitar), Gilang Prass (drums), & Dea Arya aka Bamba (vocals), has released their latest single, after releasing a song titled Lawan in June.

This time, the title of their new song is Keliru. With lyrics that are very clear and honest, this song tells about regret over leaving someone who was actually loved.

"Where someone leaves their lover, enters a relationship with someone new, and then regrets it. Until one day, they miss the person they left before," said Gilang Prass.

"The regret happens because they follow their ego and desires. They are willing to cheat, divide their heart for someone else. Even though deep down, they know that there is no one better than their lover," added Bamba.

The song Keliru has differences compared to Goodtimes' previously released works. They are trying something new to present something fresh. "The mood of the music is different, and it gives a different color to Goodtimes, especially for our future releases," said Yai.

Not only the song, but the music video that has been released on YouTube is also well-crafted. They also collaborated with LOVE FOR SALE 1 actors, Della Dartyan and Furry Citra as models.

The name Goodtimes is not unfamiliar, because they are not newcomers. Yai is the younger brother of Audy and Stevie Item, Gilang inherits the drumming talent from his uncle, Tyo Nugros (former drummer of Dewa), and Bamba is the younger brother of Pia (former vocalist of Utopia). This makes the three of them very familiar with music for a long time.

Goodtimes also doesn't want to play around with their works. The leak is that they will soon release a song in collaboration with one of Indonesia's Divas. "One thing I can leak: Goodtimes is preparing a work together with one of Indonesia's famous DIVAs," leaked Bamba.
