Using Natural Selection, The Jansen's Reason for Not Adding New Personnel
The Jansen reveals the reason for not adding new personnel.
Kapanlagi.com - Album Banal Semakin Binal is one of the best works by The Jansen. Since its release in 2022, this album has been listened to millions of times on digital music platforms.
In addition, this album also won the AMI Awards 2022 in the Best Rock Album category. Based on its success, the album Banal Semakin Binal is re-released in vinyl format.
The album Banal Semakin Binal is not only released in Indonesia. The band, consisting of Cintarami Bani Satria (vocals, guitar) and Adji Pamungkas (bass), also released this album in Singapore.

"If we really wanted vinyl, we just didn't know how to pursue it at the time, where to make it. But this is like a dream come true," said the vocalist, Bani, at demajors, M Bloc, South Jakarta, on Friday (26/4/2024).
Vinyl Banal Semakin Binal only has 300 copies for Singapore. Meanwhile, there are 1000 copies in Indonesia. The difference is, The Jansen provides a bonus track for the vinyl produced in Singapore.
"So in Singapore, it's released under an HC (hardcore) punk label, where we are very interested in entering the HC punk label. Then one of the illustrators from Bali worked on the artwork specifically for Singapore. So it's also a distinguishing feature for the domestic release," said Adji.
The vinyl album Banal Semakin Binal will start selling on Friday, April 26, 2024 simultaneously both offline at [at]demajors M Bloc store in Jakarta and online on the website www.demajors.com starting at 19.00 WIB.
The Banal record is also available through the (at)demajors network throughout Indonesia starting on the same day, priced at 250 thousand rupiah per piece.
After the release event, this band from Bogor will immediately depart to Singapore, Malaysia to carry out a series of performances for the From Bogor To Asia Tour 2024, which will start from April 27 to May 5.
"Yes, we will release the vinyl in Singapore, and we want to celebrate it with the people there. We will also make it into material for the event, and it's common for scenes like this to host each other," said Bani.
Actually, from Malaysia and Singapore, The Jansen will also depart to Taiwan. However, they had to cancel it because the country entered the red zone due to a natural disaster, an earthquake.
"But because Taiwan is in the red zone, it's not in a good condition there. So finally, since the beginning of the month, there was a 7.5 magnitude earthquake and many aftershocks, and the last one was a 6 on the Richter scale, and all our shows are there haha. So it seems like we have to postpone it for now," concluded Bani.
