Herjunot Ali Enjoying His Profession as a DJ, Already Running for 20 Years

Kapanlagi.com - The name Herjunot Ali is known as one of the top actors in Indonesia. However, behind his acting skills, Junot apparently has a talent in the field of music as a Disc Jockey (DJ).

Junot has been working as a DJ for two decades or 20 years. Initially becoming a DJ at the age of 20, two years after he entered the film industry.

"I have been a DJ for 20 years. But I actually became an actor first. I acted in a film at the age of 18, and became a DJ 20 years later," said Junot when met at the Grand ReOpening Soiree De Bond - Level UP event in the Kebayoran Baru area, South Jakarta, recently.

Becoming a DJ for Junot is not just a way to indulge in his hobby in the world of music. Junot feels that being a DJ is a profession that he pursues as one of his sources of life.

"Because I love music, and I started my career as a music presenter. This is not just a hobby, but also my source of income," he said.

Junot admits that he cannot choose which is better between acting and DJing. According to him, both have their own advantages. However, when behind the turntable, Junot feels more enjoyment.

"Being a DJ is more enjoyable than acting in a film. The work is pleasant because you only play for a short time but get paid well," he said.

2. Doing Both

Although he is currently busier as a DJ, Junot admits that he is not closing the door to acting. "I'll just do both, acting in films and being a DJ. Now, because there are no film offers, I become a DJ," he said.

Recently, Junot performed at the Grand ReOpening Soiree De Bond - Level UP event in the Kebayoran Baru area, South Jakarta. This is evidence of Junot's existence as a DJ. In the event, Junot successfully entertained the audience with the songs he played.

In 2024, Bond Jakarta is raising its standards by adopting the theme "Level UP". This can be seen from the more luxurious interior design, a new menu with high quality, and of course, the performances of famous entertainers like Herjunot Ali.

"We are very happy to welcome guests to Bond with a new face," said Heru Hermansyah, the owner of Bond Jakarta.
