Renowned Indonesian musician and composer, Tohpati, once again showcased his class in front of music lovers in the homeland. At the Java Jazz Festival 2026 held at NICE PIK2, Jakarta, on Sunday (31/5/2026), he presented a special performance titled Karya Tohpati, which became one of the most attention-grabbing performances throughout the festival.

The concert served as a retrospective of Tohpati's musical journey that has spanned decades. Known as a guitarist with cross-genre abilities, he delivered a series of works that showcased the richness of his musical exploration, ranging from jazz fusion, pop, to grand and characterful arrangements. What makes this performance even more special is the presence of a lineup of young singers who are shining in the Indonesian music industry. Tohpati collaborates with Fabio Asher, Nadhif Basalamah, Mario G Klau, Meiska, Prinsa Mandagie, and Sisca Saras to perform a number of songs that have become part of his creative journey.

The performance opened with the instrumental number Country Instrumental. The song immediately showcased Tohpati's stunning guitar playing technique. After that, the stage shifted to Sisca Saras who performed Gemintang, followed by Meiska with the song Ingin Kumiliki, which received a warm response from the audience.

The concert atmosphere remained vibrant as Mario G Klau performed Jejak Langkah. Tohpati then returned to the spotlight with his instrumental piece Kahyangan, showcasing his musical maturity as both a composer and guitarist. The ambiance became even more poignant when Prinsa Mandagie sang the song Cintai Aku Lagi.

As the performance entered its latter half, Fabio Asher took the stage to perform Cinta Kita. Shortly after, Nadhif Basalamah sang Semusim, which was warmly welcomed by the audience filling the concert area. The positive energy from the audience continued to resonate until the end of the event.

As a finale, all the female singers involved in the concert came on stage and performed the song Panah Asmara together. This moment became the climax that emphasized the success of the collaboration between Tohpati and the young musicians on one harmonious stage.
